To help us on our mission, we’re looking for a passionate Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic and ambitious engineering team for Spectre; our direct marketing tool used by estate and lettings agents.

Spectre Development team

Over the last six years, our Spectre development team have built a product that delivers a whopping 3000+% ROI for our customers and has become a market leader. We now want to double down on this success, building new features and ensuring the architecture of the product is best-in-class to help us scale further.

Here’s what you can expect to be working on as a Senior PHP Developer at Street Group:

• Having an impact on the design, architecture and build of a brand-new functionality within our Spectre platform.
• Working closely with stakeholders in other areas of the business to get a real understanding of what our customers want and need (we work hard to make sure our dev team isn’t isolated)
• Helping to promote coding standards and champion best practices, including OOP, TDD, BDD, CI/CD
• Collaborating with our customers and colleagues, to ensure they have all the information and tools they need to be successful

Who we're looking for

• You have commercial experience working with PHP and Laravel
• You’re comfortable with CSS/Sass, and can help build and maintain a strong user experience
• You’ve had experience working with Vue
• You have experience with TDD, unit testing and an understanding of BDD
• You're a great communicator, love working with a team, have strong attention to detail and would welcome working in an agile environment.

Salary

£45,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience. However, sometimes the perfect person is far more or less experienced than we anticipated. In these situations planned ranges go out the window. If you think that might be the case, please apply and just let us know.
