To help us on our mission, we’re looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic and ambitious Data Applications team.

Here’s what you can expect to be working on as a Senior Software Engineer at Street Group 

• Having an impact on the customer onboarding journey for our award-winning CRM through our data migration service, making the sometimes painful process of moving CRM smooth and simple for our customers and ensuring data brought to Street is clean and high quality.
• Continuing to build our Street Insights platform, providing incredible levels of insight on UK properties and the property market.
• Working closely with stakeholders in other areas of the business to get a real understanding of what our B2B2C customers want (we work hard to make sure our dev team isn’t isolated)
• Helping to promote coding standards and champion best practices, including OOP, TDD, BDD, CI/CD
• Working to ensure that our customers and colleagues have all the information and tools they need to be successful

Who we're looking for

• You have commercial experience working with PHP
• You’re comfortable with CSS and can help build and maintain a strong user experience
• You have experience with TDD, unit testing and an understanding of BDD
• You have experience with Cloud (AWS or GCP)
• You're a great communicator, love working with a team, and have strong attention to detail and would welcome working in an agile environment
• It's a bonus if you've had experience working with Laravel and Vue
• Experience with Golang would be beneficial, but not a requirement

Salary

£50,000-£55,000 dependent on experience. However, sometimes the perfect person is far more or less experienced than we anticipated. In these situations planned ranges go out the window. If you think that might be the case, please apply and just let us know.
